2011 Australian Large Dams Conference

The ANCOLD workshop and technical conference was held at the Crown Casino Complex located on the Yarra River adjacent to Melbourne’s CBD, in October 2011.

The conference theme was “The Future of Dams”. Over the last decade the role of dams as the traditional source of water supply has gradually shifted and now dams are only one of a number of options for providing water supply and storage.

Dive Works showcased their Commercial Diving and Remotely Operated Vehicle (ROV) services during the trade show. Managing Director Andrew Ford said, "Explaining how ROV technology can be used for dam inspections was popular with the delegates.
