“During a Deepwater Habitat Mapping Survey undertaken off the coast of Onslow during September 2009, I had the pleasure of contracting Dive Works to provide and operate a Remotely Operated Vehicle (ROV) to collect the video data required. Throughout the extensive planning stage, mobilisation, survey and demobilisation...Dive Works displayed their unwavering high level of professionalism, efficiency, hard work, dedication to their roles and commitment to health and safety without compromise. The Dive Works crew addressed any issues that arose in an efficient and safe manner which resulted in a positive outcome at every turn. This can be attributed to their comprehensive forward planning and implementation which enabled them to attend any and all contingencies. Prior to commencement of the survey, the mobilisation date was pushed back several times over a two month period. Without the high level of flexibility and dedication to the survey shown by Dive Works, the survey would not have proceeded. Each time the survey schedule slipped, Andrew [Ford – Managing Director] took the change in his stride and continued to provide planning support to myself where required. Dive Works were also always the first contractor to send through any documentation required to close-out the planning stage of the programme. The cost estimate provided prior to the job commencement was highly accurate which was reflective on Andrew’s understanding of the scope of work and level of involvement required by Dive Works to complete the job.”
