Inspection Work Scopes

Dive Works engaged Sonomatic Services for automated ultrasonic inspections on selected structural welds on various caissons. The inspection was completed on board the MPV Silver Star with the Dive Works Seaeye Leopard Work Class ROV and Sonomatic’s Mag Rover (ROV-deployed inspection scanner) utilising the Time of Flight Diffraction (TOFD) technique and Pulse Echo line scans. Dive Works also utilised Tox Free Solutions’ Ultra High Pressure Water Cleaning (UHPWC) for the cleaning of welds to Class S2 – S2.5 finish.
